Sara not running for president, Duterte 2015 redux – Anakpawis

Manila, Philippines – As Sara Duterte announced she is not running for president as President Rodrigo Duterte was nominated by the PDP-Laban as the vice-presidential candidate, the Anakpawis Party-list said that it is not surprising as it has been done before by the latter in October 2015 when he announced he would not be running for president.  But by December 2015, he replaced his lackey Martin Diño on his certificate of candidacy for president.  The presidential daughter said so claiming they agreed that only one of them would run for a national position.

“As if the Duterte family is not a political dynasty and cares about the consequence of them being at the top two national posts.  They have done it in Davao City and it is not impossible for the national government. Sara’s announcement is nothing but to diffuse the national outrage against their family being exposed as voracious for power and influence,” Ariel “Ka Ayik” Casilao, Anakpawis Party-list National President and former representative said in a press statement.

Anakpawis reiterated that the Duterte political dynasty would surely cling on to power as the patriarch is facing crimes against humanity charges at the International Criminal Court, and unprecedented government irregularities under the pandemic crisis are now being exposed.

“The #DuterteKriminal, #DutertePalpak, and #DuterteKorap brands are etched on history.  The pending task of the people is #DuterteWakasanNa via frustrating them in the elections, or more supremely to press Duterte to resign his post,” he ended. ###
